An idyllic 268 acres of fields and trees in the peaceful setting of Ridgeland, SC, Legacy Oaks Preserve is pure country. This collection of live oaks is close to several hubs of activity: 30 miles to Beaufort; 32 miles to Bluffton; 34 miles to Savannah; and only 43 miles to Hilton Head Island. Come visit our fresh air and fun activities, and we know you will want to stay.

OPERATION PATRIOTS

A Forward Operating Base (FOB) is a secured forward military position used to support tactical operations. In this case the tactical operation is to support combat veterans by providing for them a place to find relief from their daily struggles. Legacy Oaks Preserve is that place. As a part of Operation Patriots FOB, Legacy Oaks Preserve creates space and time for activities and conversations that foster the relationships that encourage the hearts and renew the spirits of our combat veterans.

EVENTS AT LEGACY OAKS PRESERVE

To be able to fund the events for our Veterans so that they can participate free of charge, we have opened our barn, oaks, and fields for weddings and events. Having your wedding, reunion, or party at Legacy Oaks Preserve, you contribute to the benefit of the combat veterans who use our facilities weekly. We have many options for you! SPORTING CLUB

Our combat veterans enjoy working, tinkering, and participating in many events at Legacy Oaks Preserve. It was created with them in mind. However, we do want to open our Sporting Club to other sporting enthusiasts who want to support our efforts! We offer activities and classes for all ages and skill levels. Bring your dad for a fishing trip or your mom for some target practice. Have some buddies who enjoy skeet? Schedule a day with us!
